Since the Original only had room for 6 seconds of sound in it's chip, there was no room for comments in this Bop It. The music starts in a slow beat, but the beat gets faster once the commands start getting said. If he had them, he would make a true authentic Worlds Smallest Bop It Original using the OG Bop It sounds! Also Dan Klitsner said he doesn't have the RAW sounds used in the Bop It Original. Speaking in a meeting with the inventor of Bop It with some well-known electronic game connumity on Discord in May 2021, Bop It Rift, Dan Klitsner, the original inventor of Bop It revealed that the 25th anniversary Bop It will use the same design as the Original but will use the sounds used from the Micro as Hasbro couldn't afford to change the sounds in time due to chip shortages.

It was released as a pocket version using the original design similar to the Bop It pen and keychain version. The original Bop it made a comeback for it's 25th anniversary since Hasbro and Super Impulse have made a new deal to make the world's smallest Bop It. This has also been the same thing for newer Bop It's but Bop It Tetris and Bop It Maker all had the same pitch.

However, all Bop It game units were manufacturered to have different settings on the clock speed resistor resulting at random pitches on each unit. It was re-released again in 2002 but this version has a similar look to the Bop It Extreme 2 and it also has the changed shapes from that game and is slightly lower pitch. This re-release looks identical to the original, and it speeds up a lot faster. However, some units that were sold in the US later before the game was discontinued fixed the speaker problem. This version had a distorted speaker resulting in crackling sounds in the audio. This version of Bop It was re-released in 2000. The game was voiced by Bob Welch, and severeal sound effects including the scream and the drumroll were taken from sound CD's that Bob at Hasbro in the 90's used. a cymbal crash means Vox Bop, a high pitched rachet means Beat Bop, which plays the sounds but is also Pass It mode at the same time. The highscore system consists of A twist sound an bangs and you can also change the modes by pulling it before starting a game. The Original Bop-it was the first ever Bop-it game made by Hasbro.
